AMAZING Homemade Mayonnaise in a Jar

What’s your number one condiment? Mine is mayo, hands down! I wanted to make a homemade mayo so when I discovered this mix of ingredients through some trial and error and mixing of other homemade recipes that are out there I was excited to get this tasty mayo. Use an immersion blender in a wide mouth mason jar to mix and like magic homemade mayo in minutes.

If you don’t have an immersion blender yet this is my favorite, KitchenAid 2-Speed Hand Blender. Or if your like I was and afraid the use the one you already have, I don’t know I just pictured whatever it was I was blending all over the ceiling and walls, don’t be they are awesome and I can’t believe I went so long without using it! Not only does it take seconds to make something the clean up is one small piece and it’s super compact to store. Find yours here: https://amzn.to/3elbNED

Such easy minimal ingredients which are all nutritious for you in one way or another and assuming you purchase the ingredients that have the highest amounts of nutrients, such as Bragg’s Apple cider vinegar ( https://amzn.to/3ent2oS ) which is my go to brand because it’s not only in specialty stores, it contains the mother and has a great taste. The Avocado Oil is key to this recipe because it gives the mayo a nice mild flavor were as olive oil gives it to strong of a flavor. Avocado oil isn’t cheap but you’ll end up with about three servings worth of oil which should make you enough mayo to last a month or two depending on how often you use it. Please note that homemade mayo should only be kept in the fridge for about a week since it contains a raw egg.

  • 1-2 grinds of fresh black pepper

Add all ingredients to wide mouth mason jar and mix with an immersion blender. Start at the very bottom until it’s thick and creamy and slowly work your way up the jar to the top. These are my choice jars, very handy for mayo & much more https://amzn.to/2KeMS7X
